'Don't overreact': Dravid on Pandya, Rahul controversy

Former Indian captain Rahul Dravid on Monday said that don't "overreact" on the 'Koffee with Karan' controversy.

Cricketers Hardik Pandya and K L Rahul were suspended pending inquiry by the Board of Control for Cricket, following their comments on the chat show. They were also sent home from Australia amidst the team's tour in the country.

“It is not that players did not make mistakes in the past. It is not that mistakes will not be made in the future despite our best efforts to educate the youth. But let us not overreact please,” Dravid told The Hindu.

Rahul also said that the councilling process that was conducted before last two under-19 World Cups should be improvised.

“We need to keep refining and keep getting better. We can only try to ensure but we are not in a position to completely take charge or be responsible for every action of the player."
