Courtesy a stellar display in the first round, Dhruv Sarda remained in front with an average of 207.17 at the end of the first six frames in the second round at the Blue-O bowling alley here on Friday.

Sarda, Shabir Dhankot and Akaash Ashok Kumar were the ones who took the top three spots on the table but former National Champion Vijay Punjabi was the one who stole the limelight on the day with an impressive show.

In the women’s category, Tamil Nadu’s Sabeena Athica extended her lead over second-placed Pooja Hegde with a fine showing in the second stage of the first round. In the six short-oil blocks, Sabeena scored a 1169-pinfall to complete her round with a total of  2323.
