JOIN USThe event, which will be held in various Kendriya Vidyalaya schools across the City, will have over 5000 students participating from 18 regions across India. The regions are: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Silchar.
The meet, which is being organised by the Bangalore Region of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan, has seventeen sporting disciplines -- swimming, skating, chess, shooting, judo, taekwondo, volleyball, handball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, circket, football, hockey, kho-kho, basketball and athletics.
The opening ceremony on Wednesday will be at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium at 10.00 am while different schools are playing hosts to different events. The closing ceremony will be on Sunday.
