Prasobh ton helps Kerala draw with Karnataka

Kerala began the third and final day’s proceedings at the RWF grounds at a dismal 64 for three in their second innings after conceding a 224-run lead on the first innings, but batted out the day to finish on 337 for nine.

Pillai’s marathon effort spanned 245 deliveries and contained 23 hits to the fence. It was a largely single-handed effort, because the next highest score was 35 by Vinayak Moorthy. However, the other batsmen stayed long enough with him to make sure that Kerala came away with a draw. At the NRA grounds, Hyderabad crushed Tamil Nadu by an innings and 90 runs, while Andhra defeated Goa by 165 runs at the IAF grounds.
