Wimbledon 2025 prize money: Here's how much winners of men's, women's and doubles finals get

The Championships are set to run from June 30 to July 13.This year's event features a record total prize fund of £53.5 million ($71.63 million). This figure represents a 7 per cent increase on 2024 and is double the amount the tournament offered just a decade ago.

Here is how that prize money breaks down for the men's and women's singles players at each stage:

Singles Prize Money:

First round: £66,000

Second round: £99,000

Third round: £152,000

Round of 16: £240,000

Quarter-finals: £400,000

Semi-finals: £775,000

Runner-up: £1,520,000

Champion: £3,000,000

The £3,000,000 prize for the champion marks a notable increase from the previous year. In 2024, winners Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejcikova each received £2.7 million ($3.61 million).

To put Wimbledon’s prize money in context with the other majors, the 2025 Australian Open saw champions Jannik Sinner and Madison Keys receive A$3.5 million (£2.26 million) each. At the 2025 French Open, Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff took home €2.55 million ($2.92 million) apiece. Meanwhile, the 2024 US Open awarded its champions, Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, $3.6 million each. These significant pay hikes have been a central demand from the world’s top players in recent communications with the four majors.
