Two units of the Raichur Thermal Power Station (RTPS) resumed electricity production on Monday.
Unit 2 with a capacity of 210 MW and unit 8 with a capacity of 250 MW resumed power generation. Four of the total eight units are now functioning. C B Yallatti, the incharge executive director of RTPS, said the power plant was receiving 10,000 tonnes of coal each day and it suffices for the four units.
