8 IAS officers transferred

The government transferred as many as eight IAS officers, including three deputy commissioners, late on Monday.

While IAS officer Darpan Jain has been posted as deputy commissioner, Mysuru; officers R Vishal and Anirudh Sravan have been posted as deputy commissioners of Tumakuru and Bidar districts, respectively.

The other officers transferred are: Naveen Raj Singh, Commissioner, Transport and Road Safety; Munish Moudgil, Commissioner, Excise; Pommala Sunil Kumar, Joint Commissioner, Mahadevapura (Bengaluru) and ADEO, BBMP (North); Nitesh Patil, Joint Commissioner, south zone, and ADEO, BBMP (South); Nalini Atul, Additional Commissioner (administration), BBMP, and ADEO, BBMP (Central). ADEO stands for assistant district election officer.
