Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday dismissed the BJP’s manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly election as a “poorly crafted fantasy” and urged voters not to waste time on it.
“New Book Review! The BJP Karnataka Manifesto, inspired by Narendra Modi, is a poorly crafted fantasy built around a weak plot, that has nothing unique to offer voters. If you’ve read the Congress Manifesto, don’t waste your time on this one,” Rahul said on Twitter.
The Congress president also gave it a single star rating on a scale of five with a recommendation to avoid the document.
The BJP manifesto released on Friday promises free smartphones to poor women, free laptops to students entering college and offers to send farmers on visits to China and Israel.
