BJP woos N Y Gopalakrishna

The BJP is wooing Congress MLA N Y Gopalakrishna from Ballari Rural, who has been denied the party ticket this time round. The party may field him from Kudligi in the district, it is said.

BJP MP Sriramulu and former minister G Janardhana Reddy are said to have held talks with Gopalakrishna's brother, retired Supreme Court judge Justice N Y Hanumanthappa on Monday night.

Gopalakrishna is yet to take a decision on the BJP's offer. He said he will hold discussions with his supporters at Rampur in Molkalmuru of Chitradurga on Tueaday, before deciding his future course of action.
