In a Dasara gift, the state government on Friday increased the dearness allowance (DA) for its employees by 2 percentage points, reports DHNS from Bengaluru.
The hike will be with retrospective effect from July 1, 2018. This will apply to all the permanent government employees and other employees drawing salaries from the government.The revision will also apply to retired state government employees and pensioners, according to an official notification.
