“I expected more than 90 per cent of marks but I never thought I would be the second highest in the State. I began preparations for the examinations in the month of December.
‘‘I attended tuition classes during the holidays, and used to study for at least six hours daily. Parents and teachers also encouraged me to study well,” she says.
Mahima’s father is an employee of Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank and mother is a housewife. Mahima wants to pursue medical education.
