'Spl teams to check fake bus passes in Chikmagalur'

He said that Kadur Police have arrested three persons who were involved in production of  fake KSRTC bus passes and seals in the district.

With this the police are pro-active and are now tracking out the racket involved in the production and distribution of fake KSRTC bus passes.

Background

When KSRTC bus plying from Taruvekere to Shimoga was inspected, a student named Sharath who was travelling from Banavara to Kadur was found carrying two passes.
The investigation was intensified on suspicion and it was found that the passes were fake and he had given his original passes to another student from Kadur.

Sharath was interrogated by Kadur police whee he admitted that he had fake passes. He also admitted that he had got the passes done from Biligiri Cyber Zone in Kadur while the seal was produced by Sri Ranga Printers.

Police raided Cyber Zone, arrested the proprietor of Cyber Zone  Vijay Kumar and confiscated equipment like computer, scanner etc used for producing fake passes. Sri Ranga Printers Proprietor Ranga Shetty admitted the crime too.
