A head master of a government school in the taluk has been suspended on the charge of misbehaving with girls.
Some girls had made a complaint to the block education officer (BEO) alleging that the said headmaster was sexually abusing them. The BEO had constituted a three-member committee to look into the complaint.
The committee submitted a report stating that the HM misbehaved with girls and accordingly, the BEO had recommended disciplinary action against him. The deputy director of public instruction suspended the HM with retrospective effect from March 17.
The headmaster was booked under Pocso Act while he was serving in Kudligi taluk, but was found not guilty in the case.
