Minor Irrigation Minister C S Puttaraju has said that the JD(S) had tapes of BJP leaders luring the party MLAs to destablise the JD(S)-Congress coalition government and they would be made public at an "appropriate" time.
Speaking to reporters after review meeting here on Monday, Puttaraju said that the BJP, instead of playing the role of a constructive Opposition, was making futile attempts at destablising the government and had been daydreaming of coming to power.
He said that the BJP had resorted to misadventures to topple the government and people in the state were wise enough to the teach the party a befitting lesson in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Puttaraju said that Chief Minister Kumaraswamy's statement about "revolt" against BJP had been misinterpreted. "It was aimed about mobilising party workers against the BJP."
