SCDCC Bank employees union will be organising a sports meet for the cooperative society employees on January 27 at Ajjarkadu grounds.
Speaking to reporters, SCDCC Bank Employees Union president Jayaram Shetty said that nearly 300 participants are expected and the police superintendent of Udupi district Lakshman Nimbargi will inaugurate the meet. Participants from eight taluks of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi will be taking part.
There will be 3 categories based on age. Below 35, 35 to 45 and above 45 years of age. Games like throw ball, 100 and 200 meters run, tug of war, long jump, high jump, shot put, ball throw, volleyball and musical chair will be organized on the occasion.
