The seer had visited Rona, Siriguppa and some other areas in his first visit and is planning to visit Badami, Bagalkot and Bijapur after Diwali. <br /><br />He urged the Government to give the land for constructions, but assured that the mutt will find land even if the government doesn’t cooperate. The mutt has already spent Rs 5.6 lakhs providing food and clothes to the victims. Besides the mutt has decided to open gruel centres at Shiriguppa and Kudlur Taluks of Bellary district, Basarkoda and Mulagali of Rona taluk, Chinthamannadoddi and Chitrahalli in Olabellary, he said.<br /><br />SEZ problems<br />The Seer informed media personnel that he had a courtesy meeting with the SEZ officials on Wednesday and that they have assured to avoid illegal land acquisition process in the Perumude area in Dakshina Kannada. They have made arrangements for the Seer to meet the concerned evacuees and farmers. The plans for second and third phase of the project should be dropped, he demanded. </p>
