A sum of Rs 4,311.47 lakh with regard to planned and Rs 7447.04 for non-planned expenditure summing upto Rs 11,758.51 lakh has been fixed up as the funds for the district and the government has decided to provide additional sum of Rs 1019.06 lakh.
A sum of Rs 5,152.89 lakh has been earmarked for planned expenditure while Rs 7624.68 lakh has been earmarked for non-plan expenditure. A total of 5,052.32 lakh has been set aside for salaries. Of the funds kept aside for planned expenditure, Rs 2,411.61 lakh will be given to Zilla Panchayat, Rs 1,188.51 lakh for Taluk Panchayat and Rs 1,552.77 lakh for Gram Panchayats.
A sum of Rs 3,063.45 lakh has been set aside for ZP for non-plan expenditure of which Rs 1591.47 has been set aside for salaries. A sum of Rs 4,426.93 lakh has been set aside for the TP and Rs 134.36 lakh has been allocated for GPs.
Zilla Panchayat could not get the action plans from various departments on time due to the election. Since the Election Code of Conduct has ended, the departments will be asked to submit their Action Plans.
