'State committed to develop Kodagu'

Speaking at the valedictory of Macchamada hockey tournament, he said there is a need to preserve the environment around us. The Jamma land should be protected.

To support sports in Kodagu, Chief Minister B S Yeedyurappa has already sanctioned Rs 25 lakh towards Macchamada hockey tournament. Tourism Minister Janardhan Reddy has agreed to sanction Rs 5 lakh.  The State government is committed to the development of Kodagu.

Hockey Utsav President Macchamada Kanda Bheemaiah presided. MLC M C Nanaiah, former MLC C S Arun Machaiah and others were present.
