JOIN USYash-starrer KGF will script history in KGF town in Kolar district when the movie hits the screen on Friday.
KGF movie will be released in Meenakshi theatre.
KGF will be the first Kannada movie to hit the screen in any theatre in KGF town on the day of its release.
Till date no Kannada movie has ever been screened in any theatres of KGF town on the day of its release.
Till Thursday noon, there was no clarity on the movie's release in the town. Meenakshi theatre owner Santosh Kumar was in two minds to release the movie as exhibitors had quoted exorbitant rates for the release. However, the two parties reached an agreement over the rate and a decision was taken for the smooth release on Friday.
According to Kumar, the theatre staff received posters and publicity materials on Thursday itself.
"The audience shouldn't have any doubts over the release. KGF will hit the screen in Meenakshi theatre," he told DH.
