KSRTC to ply 1,500 extra buses for Deepavali

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will ply 1,500 additional buses to cater to Deepavali rush. The extra buses will operate from November 2 to November 5.

The special buses will be plying from Kempegowda bus station to various parts of Karnataka, except the old Mysuru region. The special buses to Mysuru, Madikeri and other areas will be operated from Mysuru road satellite bus stop.

“Facility is provided to book computerised reservation tickets in advance for the special buses. A discount of 5% on the fare will be extended, if four or more passengers book tickets in a single ticket and a discount of 10% is offered on the return journey ticket if onward and downward journey tickets are booked simultaneously,” said a KSRTC press release.
