Leopard strays into cattle shed, rescued

Forest department officials rescued a leopard which strayed into a cattle shed at Byadarahalli near Shantigrama in Hassan taluk on Saturday.

The female leopard said to be four years old had strayed into the cattle shed of Shivanna during the early hours. The family members noticed the animal and locked the doors of the shed.

The Forest department officials tranquilized the big cat and rescued it at 3 pm.
