Kodagu district recorded 99 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday. All the cases were confirmed through RT-PCR.
A total of 32 cases were from Madikeri taluk, 41 from Somwarpet taluk and 26 from Virajpet taluk.
The district tally of Covid-19 cases is 6,972, out of which, 6,480 have recovered.
There are 408 active cases and 84 Covid-19 related deaths have been reported so far.
The current number of containment zones is 199, said Deputy Commissioner Charulata Somal.
