Carcass of leopard found in coffee plantation

Partially decomposed body of a six-year-old male leopard was found in a coffee plantation, in Nanjarayapattana under the limits of Meenukolli forest in Northern Kodagu on Wednesday.

The big cat might have died two days ago.

Forest officials conducted a spot inspection. After performing an autopsy, later, the body of the leopard was cremated in the plantation.
