Close on the heels of centre's decision not to allow cruise vessels from foreign countries, a foreign cruise vessel MSC Lirica has been denied permission to berth at New Mangalore Port on Sunday by New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT).
Sources in NMPT said the decision to deny permission to berth at the port was taken due to the threat of coronavirus.
