The Udupi district administration has clarified that it has not issued any direction to hotels and lodges on not to book hotel rooms for those who skip voting.
The order issued by Shivamogga district administration has nothing to do with Udupi district administration. DH had carried a report titled ‘No hotel rooms for those who skip voting: DC’ on April 4.
