Kodagu DC clarifies on rehabilitation works

Deputy Commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy said that the rehabilitation works will not be hit due to the election preparations.

She has stated that the works on constructing houses for the victims of the natural calamity in Kodagu and also the maintenance of roads are being carried out.

The works related to the upcoming Parliamentary elections will not delay the rehabilitation works. The works will be complete before the onset of monsoon. Permission has been sought from the government to sanction other urgent works, said the DC.
