Mangalore University tops in state varsity ranking

Mangalore University is well ahead of many premier universities in India.

The recent survey published in India Today ranks Mangalore University as 1st in the state and 12th in the country among India’s best government universities.

In the overall score, the university has scored 1,419 points out of 2,000. The ranking is based on criteria like reputation and governance, academic and research excellence, infrastructure and living experience, personality and leadership development, career progression and placement. Among them, the University has scored good points in categories of reputation and governance, academic and research excellence and infrastructures facilities.

Earlier, in December 2017, Mangalore University bagged the 3rd rank at national-level by UI Green Metric World Ranking. This survey was based on its green initiatives and eco-friendly policies. The survey also shows Mangalore University at the 231st position at global-level amongst 619 universities from more than 100 countries and the 3rd position amongst the 24 universities that participated from India.
