'Voters will not hand over power to Rahul'

BSP candidate for Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency P Parameshwar said the voters were intelligent and would not hand over the reins of country’s administration to an immature politician like Rahul Gandhi.

Parameshwar told mediapersons here, on Saturday, that the coalition candidate Pramod Madhwaraj in Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency does not have any commitment to the people.

“He is power monger and an opportunist. He would go to any party which offers a ticket.”

He predicted that both Congress and BJP would not form a government at the centre on their own. BJP’s anti-people programmes had already forced voters not to vote for the party.

He was confident that BSP would win more than 50 to 60 seats and party chief Mayawati will become the prime minister with the support of other regional political parties.

Ridiculing ‘Chowkidar’ Modi, BSP leader Zakhir Hussein said the government was incapable of nabbing culprits who had fled to other countries after looting crores of rupees.
