Petrol bomb hurdled at theatre screening 'Padmavat' in Belagavi

Audience watching Bollywood movie ‘Padmavat’ in Prakash theatre in Belagavi were shocked after they heard a huge noise outside on Thursday night. Later it was learned that few miscreants who had come in bikes have thrown the bottle filled with kerosene at the theatre and burst the cracker to scare the people.
 
There are no reports of any injury in the incident. It is suspected to be the protest against the screening of the film. Audience ran out of the movie hall after listening to the sound and the situation was scary for few minutes.
 
Kade Bazaar inspector I H Sathenahalli, who rushed to the spot after the incident was reported, suspected that it should be against the movie screening. “Few miscreants, who were on the bike have thrown the bottle and light the cracker that makes huge noise to scare the people, due to which there was an explosion like sound. Nobody is injured in the incidence. We convinced the audience who were scared and the screening was resumed after some time,” he said.
