<p>A SpiceJet flight bound for Dubai from Mangaluru International Airport could not take off at 12.45 am on Wednesday after the pilot complained of ill health.</p>.<p class="bodytext">According to SpiceJet spokesperson Anand Deora, SpiceJet Flight SG 59 (Wet lease Boeing aircraft operated by Corendon Airlines) of August 1 from Mangaluru – Dubai had to be rescheduled as the Corendon Airlines pilot reported sick after being diagnosed with malaria. Later, the flight departed at 5 pm.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The affected passengers were immediately moved to a hotel. SpiceJet apologises for the inconvenience caused to passengers,” said the release.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The operating crew and cabin crew for the flight is provided by Corendon Airlines.</p>.<p class="bodytext">After the sickness of the pilot was reported to Corendon Airlines, they arranged for another pilot at 7 am, who too complained of ill health. Later, Corendon Airlines arranged for a pilot from another location.</p>
