28.30% students pass PU supplementary exam

The results of II PU supplementary exams were announced on Thursday. As much as 28.30% of the students have passed the exam. This is a slight increase from the previous year’s 26.34%.

The department of Pre-university Education has hosted the results on its website and the same will be published in colleges on Friday. This year, as many as 2,24,879 students appeared for the exam of which 63,652 of them have passed.

While 28.97% students from the rural areas managed to clear the exam in the second attempt, the numbers who have passed in urban areas amounts to 28.14%. In 2017, students in urban areas had performed better by a small margin.

The last date for submitting the application online for availing the scanned copy of scripts is July 30. Students have to pay Rs 530 for availing a scanned copy.

Students can pay a fee of Rs 1,670 and apply for revaluation online. The last date for applying for revaluation and retotalling is August 4.
