<p>Two persons were killed on the spot in a collision between a car and a lorry on the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway near Yeliyuru on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday night.</p>.<p>The deceased have been identified as Sadam (27) and Pervez (25), both residents of Shamanna Garden in Bengaluru. They were bound for Mysuru in their car when the accident occurred.</p>.<p>According to the police, the car tried to overtake a lorry when it collided head-on with another lorry coming from the opposite direction. Both died on the spot. The rural police have registered a case.</p>
