U-K, Hubballi-Dharwad receive good rainfall

A couple of places in the State received good rainfall on Saturday.
A few parts of Belagavi City received light drizzle for some time providing respite from the heat. Dark clouds hovered over during the evening hours and the skies opened up in some parts of the City.

Heavy rainfall lashed Dharwad City in the early hours and it rained in the evening also. Hubballi received light rainfall in the afternoon.

Uttara Kannada district has been receiving good rainfall in the past couple of days. The coastal, Malnad and the plains in the district received heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning for more than an hour.

Bhatkal, Honnavar, Kumta and Ankola in the coastal belt, Haliyal and Mundagod in the plains and Sirsi, Yellapur and Siddapur in the Malnad region received heavy rainfall.

Humidity and tepid weather prevailed throughout the day at several places in the district.
