Infinix unveils new gaming Android phone GT 30 Pro in India

Infinix Mobiles on Tuesday (June 3) unveiled the new premium mid-range gaming Android phone GT 30 Pro in India.

It flaunts Cyber Mecha Design 2.0 language and comes in two premium finishes-- 'dark flare' with customizable RGB lighting effects and 'blade white' with white illumination.

The back panel houses programmable LED lights that respond to real-time triggers such as charging status, incoming calls, or in-game events.

Also, on the rails around the edges, the phone features capacitive gaming trigger buttons to play games.

To ensure the phone stays stable and cool while playing graphics-rich games, the company has equipped 6-layer 5400 mm.sq. of VC Cooling chamber, 13 per cent larger than the previous iteration. It has two copper foils, three graphite heat dissipation films, and 1 3D VC, to efficiently dissipate heat away from the CPU, GPU, and battery.

It also comes with Bypass Charging technology. It allows power to flow directly from the charger to the phone’s motherboard instead of the battery, minimising heat buildup and reducing up to 4 degrees Celsius.

For gamers, GT 30 Pro boasts of Esports Mode. It blocks distractions and boosts performance, while audio enhancement is increased by 50 per cent from the previous generation, where users can select Audio immersion based on their mood, and sharpen in-game sounds like footsteps and gunfire.

With AI Image Stabilisation on, it ensures fluid visuals during rapid movement while playing games, and ZoneTouch Master adapts touch sensitivity based on user behaviour to reduce lag and improve control.

It sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1224×2720p) AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, up to 4500 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i shield and IP64 water-and-dust resistant rating.

It supports dual-SIM slots, a USB type-c port, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It houses a 4nm class 3.35GHz MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate 5G octa-core processor with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, Android 15-based XOS 15 (two years of OS updates and three years of security patches), 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB UFS 4.0 storage and a 5,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

The GT 30 Pro houses a dual-camera module-- main 108MP (with f/1.89 aperture) and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens with dual LED flash on the back. It also features a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

The company is also offering a special GT MagCase, which also supports cooling fan accessories. The cooling fan is made of premium aluminium alloy and operates at 10W power while weighing just over 50 gms with a 4500 RPM fan speed.

Both the magnetic cooling fan and the GT case come in a GT Gaming Kit for Rs 1,999. If it is bought with GT 30 Pro, the price comes down to Rs 1,199.

Infinix GT 30 Pro comes in two variants-- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999, respectively.
