Arabian Sea turned rough, in wake of cyclone Tauktae. High tides were seen on Marine Drive in Mumbai. Mumbai, Thane and Palghar district are on orange alert in wake of cyclone. IMD stated that cyclone Tauktae is likely to intensify into a ‘very severe cyclonic storm’ within the next 24 hours and it will cross the western coast of Gujarat in the early morning of May 18.
