Haryana CM announces Rs 50 lakhs each for 9 members of Olympics women’s hockey team

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar announced Rs 50 lakhs each to the nine members of the Olympics women's hockey team from Haryana. He said, “We will award Rs 50 lakhs each to the nine members of the Olympics women's hockey team who are from Haryana. I congratulate the Indian team for their praiseworthy performance at Tokyo Olympics”. The Indian women’s hockey team lost in the bronze medal match in Tokyo Olympics on August 6. Great Britain beat India 4-3 in today’s match.
