Kashmir IGP unfolds Kulgam encounter

Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar on August 13 narrated the Kulgam encounter after one Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist got killed. “Two terrorists opened fire from a building when a BSF convoy was approaching. None of us were injured. Security forces surrounded them, encounter ensued. We used rocket launchers, militant was neutralised at night. Search was difficult at night. So, we searched today morning. Body of a Pakistani terrorist, called Usman, was found. He was active for past 6 months. AK 47, magazines, grenade, rocket launcher grenade found. This shows that a major incident was going to take place,” said Vijay Kumar.
