<p>American actor, singer Jamie Foxx was celebrating his 57th birthday in Beverly Hills when someone threw a glass at him from another table.</p><p>According to a <a href="https://edition.cnn.com/2024/12/14/entertainment/jamie-foxx-beverly-hills-altercation/index.html" rel="nofollow">report</a> by <em>CNN</em>, a spokesperson for Foxx said, "Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called, and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands."</p><p>An incident of possible assault with a deadly weapon at Mr Chow restaurant at Camden Drive at around 10 pm was reported, the Beverly Hills Police Department had said.</p><p>According to the publication's report, the police department said, "Upon investigation, officers determined that the reported assault with a deadly weapon was unfounded. Instead, the incident involved a physical altercation between parties. The BHPD conducted a preliminary investigation and completed a report documenting the battery. The doctors, who couldn't find the source of bleeding in the brain, immediately operated on Foxx believing that it would be possible for him to make a full recovery.</p><p>The actor in the special said, "We still don’t know exactly what happened to me. All I can tell you is that I appreciate every prayer, because I needed every prayer."</p>
