Ukraine handed over nine captured Russian soldiers to secure the freedom of the mayor of the city of Melitopol, who was detained last week, Interfax news agency reported. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also addressed the lawmakers in the US and Germany virtually, invoking events of World War II and Cold War to garner their support.
