South Korea's Lee praises Trump as peacemaker, calls for cooperation

Trump, meeting his South Korean counterpart Lee Jae Myung on Monday at the White House, told reporters that the pair would have very serious discussions on trade.

In their first summit on Monday, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung praised US President Donald Trump as a peacemaker and said he hoped to expand cooperation on shipbuilding and other manufacturing sectors.
