<p>You can expect some original music when it’s a performance by Amit Trivedi and his band members. Those gathered at ‘Coke Studio @ MTV Season 3’, a music concert held at the Indian Institute of Management- Bangalore, were seen thoroughly enjoying the performances. The other artistes such as Bollywood singers Shilpa Rao of Khuda Jaane fame and singer-actor Meiyang Chang too won the admiration of the crowd.<br /></p>.<p>People were seen snapping their fingers, tapping their feet and singing along to some of the popular tracks. The concert began with Shilpa Rao and her band playing a few hits.<br /><br />Songs like Manmarziyan from Lootera, Yaariyaan from ‘Cocktail’ were performed. She was soon joined on stage by singer Meiyang Chang. The two rendered a few songs like Kinna Sona Tenu. Meiyang also sang Kuch Dino Se from his latest album. Even after he left the stage, Shilpa kept the crowd entertained with popular songs such as Dhol Yaara Dhol and ended the performance with the song Duma Dum Mast Kalandar.<br /><br />Energy and enthusiasm rent the air and the performances were cheered with tweets that kept pouring in live from the crowd and were instantly displayed on the main screen.<br /><br />Addressing the audience, Meiyang said, “Performing in front of the Bangalore crowd is challenging for any singer because the audience here are so intelligent when it comes to music. It is a delight for singers to perform when there is so much enthusiasm among the crowd. The energy is mind-blowing.”<br /><br />The restlessness was palpable and the crowd was eager to witness Amit’s performance. He walked on to the stage to loud cheering. His performance began with Dilli from ‘No One Killed Jessica’. As the power-packed performance gathered steam, the audience seemed to enjoy themselves. <br /><br />There were hands swinging in the air and lights from mobile phones lit up the venue. He soon went on to play hit tracks which included Ruthe Khwabon Ko Mana Lenge from the movie Kai Po Che!, Shehar Mein Chuppa Chuppi, Iktara, Pareshaan and Gubbare, among others. Singers from Amit’s erstwhile band Om the Fusion too sang some of their hit tracks.<br /><br />Brajesh, a member of the audience said, “If the concert has to be described in one word, then it was ‘awesome’. Loved all the songs and I am a huge fan of Shilpa. I am happy that I got a chance to see her perform live, for the first time. She is blessed with a magical voice. But I was only disappointed that she didn’t sing Khuda Jaane. I was hoping she would sing it. And Amit too was at his best.”<br /></p>
