Technology companies Samsung, BenQ, Blaupunkt and others launched premium smart TVs, projectors, smartphones, accessories, and more this week (January 12-18, 2026).

The new EW270Q series sports a 27-inch IPS QHD (2560 x 1440) panel. It supports 200Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, which promises smooth visuals and responsive gameplay.

It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium, which can minimise the screen tearing and stuttering, while BenQ’s Game Colour Mode, Colour Vibrance, and Light Tuner enable gamers to fine-tune visuals for enhanced clarity and in-game visibility.

One of the key highlights of the EW270Q is the inclusion of a USB-C port with 65W Power Delivery, making it one of the few monitors in this segment to offer single-cable connectivity for display, data, and laptop charging.

The monitor also features dual 5W built-in speakers for immersive audio and 90% DCI-P3 colour coverage, which can deliver vibrant and lifelike visuals across games, movies, and streaming content. It costs Rs 17,990, and the company is offeringa 3-year onsite warranty.

Qubo, the subsidiary of Hero Group, known for its smart devices have launched a new line of dash cameras for automobiles.

Qubo Dashcam 4G Live, as the name suggests, supports 4G cellular connectivity.

It enables users to stay connected with their car at all times. Through live video streaming, real-time GPS location tracking, two-way talk and instant safety alerts, users can keep a watchful eye over their loved ones and cars from anywhere.

Along with the device, Qubo also introduces its exclusive Cloud Subscription service – Qubo CloudPlay that enables all these connected features. So, whether it’s someone else driving the car, such as the driver or family member or even dropping the car at the workshop, one can always check in to know what’s happening around with Qubo Dashcam 4G Live.

It can record 2K resolution videos. With Qubo NightPulseTM Vision Tech, it can record clear videos even in low-light conditions. It costs Rs 15,990.

The company also launched Qubo Dashcam Trio. It comes with a 3-camera setup, which can simultaneously record all the action from not only the front and rear but also inside the car through a cabin camera. Thereby, it can record from multiple angles. This can be particularly useful in a host of situations, including 1) monitoring driver conduct to ensure safer driving; 2) protecting yourself from incorrect challans or allegations of irresponsible driving, having proof of in-car thefts (against thak-thak gangs), and 3) capturing road-trip memories.

It features a 3.2-inch IPS LCD Screen to watch the live feed and also comes with a collision-detection G-Sensor, and with an SD card, it can record videos up to 1TB on-device. It costs 14,990.

It comes with a bezel-less screen design. With 4K Ultra HD resolution, the H5E Series promises to deliver enhanced clarity, richer colours, and improved contrast across movies, sports, and streaming content.

The TV is powered by Google TV OS and supports almost all OTT platforms, including Netflix, Prime Video, SonyLIV, Zee5 and boasts of personalised recommendations in one intuitive interface, with features such as For You, Watchlist, and Kids Mode for easy content discovery and family-friendly viewing. It is backed by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

On the audio front, the H5E Series features Dolby Audio and Surround Sound, powered by 20W down-firing stereo speakers, to deliver a dynamic sound experience with multiple sound modes. The audio enhancement feature can deliver clearer dialogue and impactful sound.

It supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, multiple HDMI ports, and USB support, making it easy to connect gaming consoles, soundbars, and streaming devices.

It is available in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes-- for Rs 25,990, Rs 32,990, Rs 38,990, and Rs 57,990, respectively.

The new BH71 series is touted to be India’s first headphone with 360-degree Spatial Audio with Gyro Head Tracking, and Moksha hybrid True ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).

The Gyro Head Tracking Technology uses precision sensors to track head movements in real time. As users move their heads, the soundstage dynamically adjusts, keeping audio anchored in space and delivering a natural, lifelike listening experience.

This is enhanced by Spatial Audio, Blaupunkt’s next-generation sound technology that can deliver true three-dimensional audio. Unlike conventional surround sound, spatial audio allows listeners to experience depth, direction, and movement, making music, movies, and live performances feel remarkably real.

Powering these technologies is the high-performance RTL audio chipset. It is capable of handling complex spatial processing, head tracking, and noise cancellation with speed and efficiency.

For the new hybrid True ANC feature, the company has used a quad array of premium AI microphones, which can capture ambient noise with exceptional accuracy, while intelligent algorithms eliminate disturbances in real time. It costs Rs 8,999 (MRP).

The new Adapto 100D comes in a compact form factor to support multiple devices from a single, organised charging hub.

It promises high-speed power delivery with advanced GaN technology. It promises energy efficiency and heat dissipation.

The Adapto 100D delivers up to 100W of superfast charging, making it suitable for powering laptops while simultaneously charging smartphones, tablets, and accessories.

With a 5-port setup comprising three Type-C PD ports and two USB-A ports, it enables efficient multi-device charging without the need for multiple adapters. Intelligent power management ensures stable and optimised output across all connected devices.

UP youths graduate from Samsung Innovation Campus with future-ready tech skill certification

Earlier this week, around 1,750 students in Uttar Pradesh under the South Korean company's flagship Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) programme graduated with future-ready tech skills.

Under the Lucknow initiative, students received industry-aligned training in emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (950 students), Coding & Programming (550 students), Big Data (150 students), and Internet of Things (100 students).

“At Samsung, our firm belief is that the future of India will be defined by its youth. Samsung Innovation Campus is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry by providing hands-on training in future-tech courses such as AI, IoT, Big Data and Coding. The certification of 1,750 students in Lucknow underscores our commitment to support the Government of India’s skilling vision and empower young learners across Uttar Pradesh with industry-relevant capabilities.
