<p>The Bengaluru Police on Thursday approached a Delhi court seeking its directions after it could not attach properties of fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya as it has already been attached by Enforcement Directorate's Mumbai unit.</p>.<p>The court on May 9 had issued fresh instructions for the attachment of the properties for evading summons in a money laundering case related to FERA violations by the ED's Delhi Zone.</p>.<p>The initial order had come on March 27.</p>.<p>In its application before the court, the Bengaluru Police said after receiving a warrant for attachment, it approached the assistant revenue officer of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) seeking details of Mallya's properties.</p>.<p>The BBMP gave a list of 159 properties belonging to Mallya and United Breweries Holding Ltd.</p>.<p>When the police approached the sub registrar in Bengaluru's Shivaji Nagar, there was information from 2004 to June 2018 related to properties.</p>.<p>"When we approached the accused company's legal advisor, we got to know that the property has been attached by Enforcement Directorate Mumbai Zone and the properties belonging to the said accused have already been under official liquidator appointed by the high court of Karnataka," the application said.</p>.<p>"After making all efforts, we are not able to attach the property. We are requesting the court to give further date," it said as the court fixed the next date of hearing on October 11. </p>
