<p>The northern Chinese city of Qinhuangdao inaugurated an international walking festival Saturday, which attracted 15,000 people.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The participating walkers came from China, the United States, Japan, Rwanda, Pakistan and other countries, reports Xinhua.<br /><br />The annual festival, launched in 2005, featured three events -- 5km, 10km and 20km.<br /><br />Other Chinese cities such as Harbin, Qingdao and Xi'an will also host walking festivals.</p>
