<p>Claiming to be an MLA, a woman managed to enter the fortified Assembly complex here on Tuesday creating a security scare.<br /><br />Sarita Jaiswal claimed to be a Congress MLA from Kidwai Nagar Assembly seat in Kanpur, was, however, intercepted before she could gain access to the main Assembly building by security personnel and later arrested.<br /><br />She could not produce any document to prove that she indeed was an MLA. Incidently, Ajai Kapoor of Congress is the MLA from Kidwai Nagar constituency.<br /><br />“I was just trying to check whether the security arrangements in and around the Assembly were satisfactory or not,” she said.<br /><br />Police were interrogating the woman. Security in and around the Assembly premises has been beefed up. <br /><br />Maintain decorum <br /><br />A day after BSP MLAs created ruckus during Governor B L Joshi’s address to the joint sitting of UP legislature, Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey hoped that the members would maintain decorum and follow the rules in future.<br /><br />Pramod Tewari of Congress, through a question of propriety, drew the attention of the Assembly to the unruly behaviour of some members during the Governor’s address on Monday. Speaker Pandey hoped that the members would behave as per the rules in future. Chaos marked the inaugural session of Assembly on Monday when slogan-shouting MLAs from main opposition BSP disrupted Joshi’s address.</p>.<p>‘No civic polls during budget session’<br /><br />BJP MLAs on Tuesday objected to holding of urban local bodies elections during the budget session reports PTI from Lucknow.
