<p>Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan Sunday announced his plans to bring major cities in the country to a standstill, while pressing for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's resignation.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Addressing a massive rally in Pakistan's capital Islamabad, Imran said: "On Thursday (Dec 4), I will go to Lahore and shut it down. On Dec 8, I will shut down Faisalabad; on Dec 12, I will go to Karachi and shut it down. By Dec 16, I will close down all of Pakistan," The Dawn online reported.<br /><br />"I know people of Lahore are ready... I know all of Faisalabad is ready... and Karachi, I know, they are waiting for me," Imran said.<br /><br />However, the PTI chief said that he was not saying this to become the prime minister.<br />He reiterated his demand for a fair probe into the 2013 general election.<br /><br />"We still have no word on the investigation of rigging," Imran said. "We want justice. We want an investigation (into the) 2013 elections and a result within 4 to 6 weeks under (the) supervision of the Supreme Court, " he added.<br /><br />"The ball is in your court, Nawaz Sharif -- do your talks, do your investigations and solve the issue. We will close Pakistan down when Dec 16 comes (about), and what I do after that, you will not be able to bear that," the PTI chief said.<br /><br />"Naya Pakistan is waking up every day. We can all see it," Imran noted.<br />Criticising the government and the Pakistan Peoples Party, Imran said they colluded to rig the 2013 general election.<br /></p>
