Mist envelops morning, noon remains warm

Delhi woke up to a misty morning on Saturday but the afternoon was warm with many people seen  roaming on the streets with no woollens on.

 The chill continued with minimum temperature recorded at 8.7 degrees Celsius, which is below normal levels. The maximum temperature stood at 22.3 degrees. The Met department has predicted similar weather conditions for Sunday.

“The minimum and maximum temperatures will be around 10 and 24 degrees respectively.
The morning will be misty and shallow fog is expected,” said the official. The official added that the humidity recorded on Saturday morning was 81 per cent.

The temperature has been fluctuating between three to seven degrees below average at various places in North India.
