<p>Two days after getting a breakthrough in the terror attack on Israeli embassy’s official and arrest of a 52-year-old journalist, investigators are looking into the scribe’s alleged link with Iran's secretive Quds Force or foreign terror groups.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“The secret agency is believed to be behind the attacks on Israeli nationals in Georgia and Bangkok last month,” sources said.<br /><br />Police arrested Sayed Mohammed Ahmed Kazmi from south Delhi on Tuesday for allegedly providing logistical support to the perpetrators, who are believed to have fled to Iran a day after the attack.<br /><br />“Kazmi, who was allegedly part of the conspiracy, might have been kept in dark as highly trained intelligence forces are allegedly involved in the attack,” said the source, adding that ‘it can rule out his role’.<br /><br />The Quds Force or Hezbollah, the Lebanese terror outfit, is suspected be behind the operation. Police, however, refused to comment on the role of a foreign agency. One more suspect is likely to be arrested soon in connection with the case, sources said.<br /><br />However, they refused to divulge more information. “No other arrest apart from Kazmi’s has been made so far,” said the investigating officer.<br /><br />The probing agency reiterated that a scooty recovered from Kazmi’s house was used for reconnaissance of the Israeli mission around four days before the attack.<br /><br />The investigators have also got a photocopy of the passport used by the foreign national to rent the bike – used in the attack — from Karol Bagh market.<br /><br /> “We are still verifying the photocopy of the passport,” said the officer. The investigators are also examining Kazmi’s call details of the last three years. <br /><br />They said that they also received inputs from various foreign investigative agencies including that of Thailand, Georgia and Israel.<br /><br />A biker had attached a magnetic explosive device to Israeli official Tal Yehoshua Koren’s car and sped away. Within seconds, the device exploded with a thunderous sound, setting the car on fire.<br /><br />Koren, who is an accountant at the Israeli embassy, suffered multiple injuries. Apart from her, three more people were injured in the attack.<br /><br /><br /></p>
