<p>Prema Ramappa Nadapatti, the first and only woman BMTC driver, has been negotiating Bengaluru’s busy roads for the past six years. It was a childhood dream to drive and she quit a nurse’s job to join BMTC.</p>.<p>Though six more women were selected by BMTC for driver-cum-conductor job along with Prema, they opted to work as conductors. Since driving is a difficult task, Prema says women prefer to become conductors.</p>
