<div>Tiffany Two, the holder of world's oldest cat living record, has died in her sleep at the age of 27 years, 2 months and 20 days, Guinness World Records said.<br /><br />Born on March 13, 1988 in San Diego, California, the short-haired black and orange tortoiseshell was bought by her owner Sharon Voorhees from a local pet shop when the record breaking kitty was six weeks old.<br /><br />Sharon paid USD 10 for her and commonly referred to Tiffany Two as the "best money ever spent".<br /><br />To put her lifespan into context, when Tiffany Two celebrated her 27th birthday in March she had lived the equivalent of 125 human years, Guinness said.<br /><br />Sharon settled on the name Tiffany Two as something of a tribute to another tortoiseshell cat she once owned in the 1970s that also boasted a beautiful multi-coloured coat.<br /><br />Despite her incredible age, as recently as February, Tiffany Two was reported to have good sight and hearing.<br /><br />Besides very small ailments such as high blood pressure from time to time, Sharron described her as "not feeble and still able to go up and down stairs".<br /><br />She enjoyed a varied diet with both wet food and dry food and resided mainly indoors but frequently popped outside when she fancied.<br /><br />While Tiffany Two's longevity was incredible, she still was some way off the oldest cat ever record, set by a feline from Austin, Texas called Creme Puff who was born on August 3, 1967 and lived until August 6, 2005 - an amazing 38 years and 3 days, Guinness said</div>
